This maternity shoot was everything; is everything. I just love this couple so much.
When Courtney told me she was pregnant it didn’t register right away, and then all of a sudden it hit me and we cried out of pure joy. My best friend is pregnant! We absolutely had to take photos to celebrate. They would need announcement photos, for one thing, but I also feel as if – for me – the process of taking photos, capturing life’s moments and preparing them to be treasured over a lifetime, is a lot like the process of nesting, thoughtfully preparing your home and your life for all the wonder that’s about to enter into it.
I’m unbelievably excited for Courtney and Joe, and for the tiny new life they’re bringing to the world that we get to treasure and love!
